When applying for Training Courses on-line we have now added a new section for you to submit your NYCC Employee Reference Number. Please can you fill this in everytime you apply. Many thanks.

To be eligible to access the Early Years CPD training programme your place of work or study (for instance setting, school, childminders home, college) must be within North Yorkshire.

Supporting Teaching and Learning / GCSE Maths

NYCC Adult Learning and Skills Service (Harrogate) are offering NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools courses from September 2010. GCSE Maths courses will also be available. Telephone 0845 3002412 for further details

Family Learning Programme

The World of James Herriot in Thirsk

The World of James Herriot in Thirsk is holding a special family 'storytelling' day to celebrate local heroes on Saturday June 18, from 10am - 5pm.
Enjoy a fun packed day with games and activities in the garden including making medal and gas masks and explore the air raid shelter under Skeldale House. Listen to stories about famous and local heroes including Robin Hood and the world famous vet and author James Herriot.

Booking is not required and normal admission charges apply - adults £6.55, children £4.55, family ticket (two adults and two children) £18.45
